Safety Harbor to distribute sandbags before storm

Pinellas County is currently within the 5-day Cone for Potential Tropical Cyclone Four.  Yesterday, the Governor declared a State of Emergency by Executive Order 24-156, including Pinellas County.  In preparation for the storm, the City will distribute sandbags on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Public Works Yard at 1200 Railroad Ave. from 10AM until 2PM.  Maximum of 10 bags for City residents only; bring ID or utility bill for verification.
