City Commission approves ADA parking requirements for Waterfront Park special events

At its July 15 meeting, the Safety Harbor City Commission unanimously approved changes to the city's special events policies.

The changes:

  • Waterfront Park events need to have 12 ADA parking spaces available
  • Special event details need to be shared with the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce
  • Basketball courts and tennis courts are no longer available for special events
  • Folly Farm's  gazebo and barn & fire pit are now available for rentals.
