Safety Harbor Pier closed, will be replaced in 12-18 months

⚠️CLOSURE ALERT⚠️
TS Debby was the last punch to our Fire Marshal Brock Memorial Pier (originally built in 2002) causing damage resulting in its closure for safety concerns until the replacement is complete.
The replacement project will start in the next 60 days. City staff received the construction documents from the design consultant and County permitting has already started. The new pier will replicate the original, keeping Safety Harbor's landmark and charm intact; however, the new pier will be wider with underwater lighting at the shelter.
The complete replacement project (pilings, stringers, deck boards, handrails, emergency water, lighting, and shelter) is estimated to take 12-18 months. Our apologies for any inconveniences, and we ask for patience moving forward as we improve your play space. Thank you.
