Marina channel dredging begins June 26

👏 The City is excited to announce that the channel dredging project will begin soon!
🚤 The City Commission awarded the project to Gator Dredging on May 15, 2023, with Engineering issuing a notice to proceed for July 10, 2023. The contractor will complete a pre-dredge survey the week of June 26, with turbidity barrier installation starting the week of July 10. The contractor has 45 days to complete the project.
🚫 Due to public safety, the public boat ramp AND channel will be closed starting July 10 until project completion (anticipated August 25, 2023).  
🚤 Please, pardon our progress. Once complete, the project will provide users a safer channel for navigating to and from the marina and boat ramp.
