At its Monday night meeting, the Safety Harbor City Commission unanimously approved zoning for a 2.2 acre parcel at 541 14th Ave. S.
The land, owned by Yoquese LLC, was annexed from Pinellas County on Nov. 15, 2021, and has been unzoned since. Commission previously denied a request to zone it R-3 (Conditional Mixed Residential) over concerns with the possible uses allowed under R-3. Monday, it voted 5-0 to approve zoning of R-2 (Single-Family Residential).
The owner has not submitted a site plan for the parcel, but has indicated it plans to construct seven single-family homes.
