The Pinellas County school district and teachers union reached agreement on a pay and benefits package late Thursday, just a week after walking away from negotiations separated by nearly $4 million in their proposals.
Their deal, which still requires ratification by the school board and teachers, would add 4.5% to the district’s instructional payroll. Educators who still have continuing contracts would see an annual raise of $2,060, while those on annual contracts would get increases based on their evaluations.
