During Commissioner Reports at the end of Monday night's Safety Harbor City Commission meeting, Commissioner Cliff Merz said that while Vice Mayor Andy Steingold and Commissioner Nancy Besore have said they intend to run for re-election in March 2024, that he will not seek re-election to a fifth term.
Merz said representing the city has been an honor, but he wanted to make his annoucement early enough to allow any interested candidates to prepare.
