With a sound perfect for concert halls or the festival stage, Eireann's Call draws from the rich wellsprings of Scottish, Irish, Welsh and Galician music, and adds World Music elements. Our instrumentation includes: bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, Scottish Pennywhistles, keyboard, guitars, bass, drums and tight vocal harmonies. The sound ranges from sweeping, symphonic Gaelic songs to powerful bagpipe rock to traditional Celtic songs arranged non-traditionally to driving fiddle tunes with a muscular rock backup. The most common compliment we receive is on the rich and ever-changing variety of our sound. At once unique, unforgettable and yet, familiar and always powerful.
